Patrick Kelleher – Executive Vice President/COO

Patrick Kelleher joined RSIG Security in 2011 as an Operations Manager. In 2012 Patrick was promoted to Vice President of Operations for his superior ability to manage all aspects of operations. In 2016 Patrick was promoted to Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. Prior to joining RSIG Security, Patrick served for over 12 years in positions of increasing responsibility in the United States Air Force and as a Police Officer with a local law enforcement agency. Through his career, Patrick has served as a Security Forces Sergeant, Director of Security, Patrol Officer, SWAT Member, Anti-Terrorism Instructor, Police Academy Instructor along with many other instructor certifications. Patrick has hands-on experience with foreign security (Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Italy, Egypt, Germany, Kyrgyzstan and United Kingdom), executive and dignitary protection, predictive profiling and terrorist threats.

Patrick is currently responsible for implementation of strategic plans and initiatives that support our clients’ evolving needs and the continued development of comprehensive security solutions. Patrick is also responsible for overseeing operations, employee benefits, human resource operations, companywide budgeting, business development. Patrick is also responsible for creating and executing strategies that deliver an exceptional client experience, and help guide the organization’s growth.

Chris Thompson – Executive Vice President of Operations

Chris joined RSIG in 2014 as an Operations Manager, Becoming the Vice President of Operations in 2017. Chris is responsible for coordinating overall oversight of the Static Division accounts and for overseeing the Static Operations management team. He is a MOAB certified instructor and coordinates the in-house training program for Event and Static Division employees.

Chris has more than fifteen years of experience in the military and private security industries. In that time he has served in various roles including hotel security director, site security supervisor at a government building, and performing various special security for events such as foreign dignitary visits. In his 8 years in the United States Army as an Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technician, he worked state-side missions with various government agencies performing explosives detection and security for high-level events, including the 2012 Presidential Inauguration. He also provided local emergency response for events such as the Boston Marathon bombing and the July Fourth concert and firework display. While deployed, he worked as part of a 2-person team responding to explosive threats, revamped emergency protocols for the US State Department, and performed personal security details for government officials.

Chris received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Boston College.

Shannon Roddy – Vice President of Business Development

Shannon Roddy has over 15 years of experience building and growing diverse businesses in the areas of outsourcing, technology and advisory services. She joined RSIG Security in 2010 and serves as the firm’s Vice President of Business Development. She has extensive experience and training in situational and organization leadership, negotiations, public speaking and team building. Shannon is an active member within: ILSSA Boston, ARSD, IREM, RAH, Toastmasters and served as Chair for ASIS Boston Chapter in 2016. Shannon is currently the Vice Chair and Treasurer of IAHSS Boston Chapter. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Framingham University. 

Sean Kelleher - Vice President of Operations

Sean joined RSIG Security in the beginning of 2019 as Director of Hospital Operations, responsible for management of the company’s hospital accounts on the North Shore (100+ staff spread among 6 sites). In 2022, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations. In this role, Sean is responsible for oversight of the Static Division accounts and the Static Operations management team. Prior to joining RSIG Security, Sean worked in sales at a General Electric affiliated company for 8 years. His final 3 years were spent managing the inbound sales team, which consisted of 3 team leaders and 30+ sales agents. Sean graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a dual major, one of which being Justice Studies.

Cheryl Hodgman – Operations Manager

Cheryl joined RSIG in May of 2009 as event staff. In 2012 she was promoted to Command Supervisor and responsible for numerous events and venues. Cheryl worked as Command Supervisor for all concerts and sporting events at Agganis Arena. In 2014 Cheryl was promoted to Operations Manager and her duties expanded to scheduling and overseeing staff and events. Prior to RSIG, Cheryl was in the business industry working cost accounting, bookkeeping and as an office manager. She incorporates those skills by assisting in the day to day administrative duties surrounding event operations. Cheryl also manages the Hospital Division for RSIG, providing MOAB trained staff to hospitals and health care facilities.

Daniel Guedes- Event Manager

Danny Guedes joined RSIG in October of 2009. His security knowledge and leadership skills were quickly noticed and he was promoted to supervisor in 2010. During his time with RSIG Danny also provided general security and specialized in barricade security for the House of Blues in Boston from 2012-2014. Danny worked as Response Team Security for TeamOps at Gillette Stadium from 2012-2015. He worked security operations for the opening of The Sinclair in Harvard Square in 2012 then worked as the Security Lead; now Danny assists and consults only for large scale events. In October of 2016 Danny was promoted to Event Manager for RSIG where he applies his skills to many of RSIG’s large calls; focusing on overseeing and training staff on film sites, managing concerts and sporting events.

George Knickerbocker - Vice President of Recruiting - MOAB - AVADE Instructor

George joined RSIG Security Inc. in 2005 and started in our Michigan office as an Office Manager.  George joined the Massachusetts team in 2014 as our Recruiter. George was then promoted to Recruiting Manager in 2016 and then again promoted in 2019 to his current role as Vice President of Recruiting.  George is our Senior Avade Instructor and trains and re-certifies all Hospital Division employees in Avade. Avade involves de-escalation and self-defense tactics and techniques. George is a veteran of the U.S. Military Army, where he was a Chaparral Crewman, the surface to air missiles. George is also a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and has a diploma in Modern Applied Psychology, as well as a diploma in Mental Health Practitioner. 

Dawn Portrey - Controller/ Personnel Director

Dawn Portrey joined RSIG Security in January of 2003 and is one of the original hires from the Michigan office. She transferred to the Massachusetts office in June 2008. Dawn has played a key part in the growth of the company and works in the office handling the day to day office responsibilities. Prior to working for RSIG Security she spent 17 years in law enforcement.
